A busy week for the "Hot Shoe"

Last Saturday, Chuck Hossfeld returned to the historic Lancaster Raceway Park with a newly painted #22 Modified. The race looked promising as Hossfeld was able to race up to forth in his heat and the car looked fast.

During the race, Chuck raced from the middle of the pack up to the forth position, passing Knoll, Holmes and Scherrer. Once Chuck got to the forth position, the lead pack seemed too fast for Hossfeld. Buck Catalano was leading with Rudolph and Fidanza battling for second. The 50 lap race came to an end and Hossfeld finished 4th. It was a good run for the 22 team.

On Wednesday, August 29, 2007, Chuck will be racing at Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, MA. Chuck is really looking forward to racing in this big event. Hossfeld won a Whelen Modified Tour event at the track back in 2004 and definitely knows how to run around the 1/3 speedway. The race is 100 laps green flag laps and is $10,000 to win.

Chuck is also racing this Saturday at Oswego Speedway in the #22 Modified. Oswego Speedway is host to the ROC Bud Classic 125 lap race. Chuck has had great success at Oswego over the years winning the 1999 & 2005 ROC weekend races. Hossfeld is looking forward to racing there one more time before the Race of Champions weekend which is in a few weeks.

Please check back in to ChuckHossfeld.com for results from those races and all of the remaining races Chuck has in his 2007 schedule.
